Fabrizio Cassol

Born in Ougrée, Belgium, Fabrizio Cassol is a celebrated saxophonist and composer, whose work spans opera, theatre and dance. A true pillar of the Belgian jazz scene, Cassol’s academic interest in world culture and non-European music have seen him attain mastery in weaving together different cultures and artistic languages. Cassol is also the first user of the aulochrome – a double soprano saxophone. When he isn’t performing, he lends his expertise to students at workshops and masterclasses around the world.

Cassol will take centre stage with Zila Khan at the Ranthambore Festival, for a never-before-seen-collaboration.
