Karl Lutchmayer

Steinway artist, renowned concert pianist and lecturer, Karl Lutchmayer has garnered critical and public acclaim for his recitals, including his lecture-recital series, ‘Conversational Concerts,’ in London, which contextualises classical music for audiences and teaches them how to truly appreciate it. The maestro started playing piano when he was just six, and attended the Royal College of Music before embarking on his successful international career, during which he has given numerous premieres and had many works written for him.

Lutchmayer also lectures at prestigious conservatoires like Trinity College of Music, London, the Juillard and Manhattan Schools in New York and at the Mehli Mehta Foundation in his home, India.
